DataViz Lets You Take Your Attachments to Go
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — October 19, 1999 — DataViz(R) Inc., a leading provider of synchronization solutions for the Palm Computing(R) platform, announces a FREE add-on for its Documents To Go(R) product. Currently, Documents To Go allows users to view their word processing and spreadsheet files on Palm Computing(R) organizers. The new add-on, called Attachments To Go, works with DataViz' Documents To Go to deliver e-mail attachments to Palm(TM) devices during synchronization. Actual Software has also announced that their e-mail program for the Palm Computing platform, MultiMail(TM), will work with Attachments To Go. Attachments To Go will be available as a FREE download for all Documents To Go customers in November.
Now when a user receives an e-mail attachment in their desktop e-mail program, Attachments To Go will bring a copy of the attachment to the Palm Computing organizer during the next synchronization. They can then use Documents To Go to view their important word processing and spreadsheet files sent via e-mail. It's that simple. Attachments To Go is for Windows 95/98/2000 and NT4. Actual Software has announced their popular MultiMail product will fully support Attachments To Go. MultiMail customers that have Attachments To Go and MultiMail will soon have seamless e-mail attachment translation each time they synchronize.
