Communication Intelligence Handwriter Multi-Lingual Recognition System for GO’s PenPoint operating system

April 15, 1992 — Communication Intelligence Corp. (NASDAQ:CICI) Wednesday announced Handwriter Multi-Lingual Recognition System for the PenPoint operating system.

CIC will demonstrate Handwriter for PenPoint at GO Corp.’s PenPoint 1.0 announcement in San Francisco on April 16.

Handwriter is the award winning recognition system which provides consistently high recognition performance across industry standard platforms. Already available on CIC’s PenDOS and Microsoft’s Windows for Pen Computing, Handwriter is the first multi-lingual recognition system to be announced for PenPoint.

Handwriter is available for the English, German, French, Italian and Japanese languages. This unique feature allows products from CIC licensees, such as the NCR 3125 and the Samsung PenMaster, to sell worldwide. The PenPoint version of Handwriter will be available to licensees this June for English. Additional language capability of Handwriter will be available with the international version of PenPoint.
