CIC PenDOS Software Developer Kit Available in Japan

June 14, 1993 — (NASDAQ:CICI) Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) Monday announces the availability of its PenDOS Software Developer Kit (SDK) for DOS/V users in Japan.
The PenDOS SDK is currently available through CIC Japan for (Japanese Yen) 98,000 or approximately US $890.

The PenDOS SDK makes it possible for independent software vendors to develop new pencentric applications with DOS/V compatible computers from CIC licensees such as IBM, NCR, and Fujitsu. NCR Japan, Ltd. has already be-gun shipping pen computers, running DOS/V, bundled with CIC’s PenDOS pen operating environment.

PenDOS is the only pen computing operating environment currently offered for DOS in Japan.

DOS/V is the version of DOS in Japan currently supported by a consortium of leading PC manufacturers including Acer, Compaq, Dell, Fujitsu, IBM, Mitsubishi, NCR and Toshiba.
