HANOVER, Germany — February 22, 2000 — DataViz(R), Inc., a leading provider of compatibility solutions for the Palm Computing(R)platform, will be featuring its Documents To Go product in Palm Computing's booth at CeBit 2000 in Hanover, Germany. Documents To Go lets users quickly and easily view their Microsoft Office(R)files, such as sales forecasts, price lists and contracts on their handheld device. The latest version includes features such as document beaming and rich text viewing, along with a new add-on called Attachments To Go (Windows only), which seamlessly brings e-mail attachments to the Palm device. In addition to the Palm Computing booth, the entire DataViz product line will be demonstrated at the Softline AG booth located in Hall 4 Stand B12. Softline is a distributor of all DataViz products in Germany.

Beam Word and Excel Files Palm connected organizers allow users to "beam" memos, contacts, appointments and other important dates to another device using the built-in infrared port. Documents To Go 2.003 takes advantage of this technology by allowing users to beam their word processing and spreadsheet files to other Palm users. This is a fast and easy way to share meeting agendas, sales numbers and other important files. If the recipient does not have Documents To Go, the sender can simply beam them the viewer along with the documents. However, if the recipient does have Documents To Go, formatted word processing and spreadsheet documents will be created on the desktop the next time they synchronize.

Rich Text Viewing Rich text viewing on the Palm organizer allows more of the formatting from desktop documents to be retained in the documents on the Palm. For example, word processing files with tables, numbered and bulleted lists, bold, italic, underlining, and paragraph alignment can now be seen in the documents on the handheld, making it quicker and easier to read and navigate. Documents To Go not only works with Microsoft Word and Excel, but also with Lotus Word Pro, 1-2-3, Corel, WordPerfect and Quattro Pro files.

View e-mail Attachments on the Palm Attachments To Go is designed to deliver Microsoft Outlook(R)e-mail AND attachments to Palm connected organizers during a desktop or local synchronization. This free add-on to Documents To Go extends the functionality of the built-in mail conduit by bringing attachments to the Palm, and turning them into viewable formats that can be read by Documents To Go. Attachments To Go is for Windows only.
