Impact Innovations Group Announces Palm Computing Enterprise Alliance Membership

ATLANTA — October 31, 2000 — As part of its strategic focus on building mobile and wireless integration capabilities, Impact Innovations has announced its selection as one of Palm's first Enterprise Alliance Program members.

This important relationship enhances Impact Innovations' leadership position for providing anytime business critical information via Palm handheld Computing devices.

Impact Innovations sees Mobile Computing as a strategic direction for its company and has invested significantly to expand their already successful Mobile Practice. Impact Innovations development teams are developing "bleeding edge" solutions using the Palm OS to solve business problems in the Enterprise and Government markets. Impact Innovations' mobile solutions have been deployed for asset management, fire inspections, mobile medical code capture, and other industry specific applications.

Impact Innovations developed a Palm solution to automate the collection of hardware inventory data for the Federal Aviation Administration. Prior to the Impact Innovations' Palm solution, this was a time consuming, manual process. "The PAM (Palm Asset Management) application increased both our efficiency and accuracy by interfacing with the asset management database and providing the ability to conduct wall-to-wall inventories in 1/3 the time," said Jeff Lane, Program Lead for the FAA's IT Service Center, LAN & Help Desk.

"This important relationship with Palm is part of Impact Innovations' strategic focus on becoming a leading supplier of mobile and wireless computing solutions for government and the financial services, energy and telecommunications industries," said Mike Smith, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Impact Innovations. "With Palm, and our expertise in integrating their wireless mobile technologies, we will build upon our successes in sales force automation (SFA), customer relationship management (CRM), financial services and telecommunications," said Smith.

According to Chuck Yort, Vice President for Business and Government Marketing at Palm, "With the ever-increasing demand for Palm-based enterprise solutions, we expect many of our enterprise clients to leverage the unique skills of Impact Innovations to drive significant competitive advantage from the rapid deployment of mobile and wireless Internet solutions."
