INDIANAPOLIS — July 15, 1999 — Macmillan Computer Publishing and EA SPORTS(TM) today announced that they are now shipping Tiger Woods PGA TOUR(R) Golf for Palm Computing(TM) Connected Organizers. The first true golf game for Palm Computing Connected Organizers, the game allows you to compete as or against golf star Tiger Woods and seven other top PGA TOUR members including Brad Faxon, Peter Jacobsen, Lee Janzen, Tom Kite, Davis Love III, Mark O'Meara and Craig Stadler.
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Golf for Palm Computing Connected Organizers, a 3Com platinum certified product, ships with three world-class PGA TOUR courses. The game includes the famed Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Sawgrass(TM), home of THE PLAYERS(R) Championship, TPC at Summerlin(TM) one of the host courses for the Las Vegas Invitational and Las Vegas' Badlands Golf Club(TM). Each golf course is a palm-sized replica of its real 18-hole counterpart.
Three game modes offer hours of gaming fun with Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Golf for Palm Computing Connected Organizers. You can improve your game in Practice/Stroke mode, compete against up to four players in Tournament Play mode, or get the entire course to yourself in single player Fast Play mode. Don't have much time? In Fast Play mode you can usually play a full 18 holes in less than 30 minutes!
